The international destination for this cycle is Marrakech, Morocco, making this the show's first visit to the Arab world and the second time to Africa, the first being in Cycle 4, where the show visited Cape Town, South Africa. This is also the second season not to feature a casting episode, only preceded by Cycle 2.
